I use stop smoking hypnosis to look at the unconscious belief and emotion that are linked to smoking. The “unconscious” mind stores our programming, such as habits, beliefs and memories. Working with this part of the mind we can achieve changes on a deeper level, allowing you to be free from cigarettes and in control.
After the Cognitive Hypnotherapy session, clients say that ‘they just don’t think about smoking’ any more and that they feel relieved that those old feelings have gone. After overcoming something that they have been wanting to do for so long, most clients report a great sense of achievement and this confidence has a positive impact on other aspects of their lives.
Some people worry that they will put on weight if they give up smoking as usually people swap one habit for another.
However, using Cognitive Hypnotherapy we can discover underlying patterns and associations between habits which results in more powerful, lasting change. The association is removed and therefore no need for another habit to fulfil it.
The Stop Smoking session is individually tailored to you. We assess your trigger times, those times when you are most likely to smoke, (such as first thing in the morning, with a coffee, after a meal, on a work break or at times of stress) as well as any potential obstacles that need to be removed for the treatment to be successful. You will receive a personalised mp3 to help consolidate the changes you’ve made and provide support in between sessions.
